Fidelity began in a loft in downtown Boston, Massachusetts with the design and creation of outerwear starting in 1941. It has continued to be an American favourite until today. The present owners, Gerald and Stewart Webber, trace their involvement back to the late 60’s when their father Edward, a partner in the company, had them working in the factory during their early teenage years. Their collections heavily feature outerwear garments, with duffle coats, pea coats and over shirts being the pick of the bunch. The design is military focused, taking inspiration from American navy officers clothing. The clothes that Fidelity produces are still made in the US to exacting standards utilising some of the most rugged materials available. What Fidelity brings to US navy garments is the modern twist in cuts and silhouettes. They take an item that was designed to purely function and add form.
