Fashion can take influences from many places and it is sometimes easy, perhaps even lazy, to merely label something as 'workwear', or 'sportswear'. Good labels manage to draw their inspiration from a vast array of sources and blend them into something new. For us, one such brand is Parisian based APC who have provided the Blouson Col Mouton coat you see here. Based loosely around classic aviation jackets, it is shorter on the body with a large shearling collar. However, the military inspiration has been mixed with their own unique Gallic style and luxury materials to create something new and exciting. When you have such a great item, the rest of the outfit sort of falls into place. A simple crew neck sweat from YMC, a patterned shirt from Gant Rugger, some washed private stock jeans from EVISU and Nathan monk strap shoes from Grenson complete matters.
