One of the oldest names in French footwear, Paraboot create exceptional shoes with an unmistakable style. Popular with many youth subcultures over the past 50 years, the Michael shown here has been completely made in France from supple yet hardwearing leather. Coming in a maroon colourway, the sole has been crafted from tough rubber to provide comfort and grip in all conditions. Based loosely around a moccasin style, two eyelets are used to fasten and subtle branding is located near the tongue.
Constructed using the more complicated Norwegian welt method as opposed to the more commonly found Goodyear welt, the upper is fixed to the sole by means of an assembly insole. Two lines of stitching, one diagonal and one vertical, increase both strength and flexibility whilst proving a watertight finish.
