Established in 1893, Camplin know a thing or two about creating resilient outerwear for the harshest of conditions. An historical supplier of the British Royal Navy, they have used all their knowledge to create the Overcoat, shown here in a navy colourway.
Constructed in England using fine water repellent wool that has been woven in Italy, it is a smart and sophisticated way to stay dry this winter. Slim cut but comfortable, it features a large spread collar, hidden placket, hip pockets and has been completely lined on the interior.
As an interesting side note, Charles Camplin, son of founder Edgard, was awarded the Naval General Service medal for supplying uniforms to the British Navy during its most important colonial campaign. The medal featured navy and green striping on the ribbon, a touch that can be seen in the detailing of all their jackets.
