American workwear label Red Wing have a long and illustrious history of creating tough, durable footwear. Founded in 1905 in Red Wing, Minnesota, by Charles Beckman, all of their boots are designed for work yet are still comfortable enough to wear every day.
The Iron Ranger is one of their most iconic silhouettes and was originally made for workers at Mesabi Iron Range in Northern Dakota. Made in America, the upper has been cut from oil-tanned amber harness leather, a material that is both robust and supple. This then sits on a comfortable Vibram 430 mini-lug sole unit which has been paired with a reinforced toe cap and Goodyear welt construction.
