Edwin founder K. K. Tsunemi's obsession with denim started after the end of WWII. Initially he imported American jeans to his native Japan, but after huge demand he expanded his business with the purchase of an old loom. Now Edwin jeans are renowned the world over for the durability and toughness. They are also famous for being one of the only remaining denim brands to use natural indigo in their dyeing process. The result is a much more organic fade, something that is highly desired by many denim lovers.
