PART-TIME ECOMMERCE OPERATIVE

Peggs & son is a leading independent menswear store based in Brighton, UK. We’re known for our carefully curated selection of international brands, attention to detail, and a thoughtful, personal approach - both in-store and online.

As our ecommerce business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Part-Time Ecommerce Operative to support the day-to-day running of our online store. This is a behind-the-scenes role focused on accuracy, organisation, and ensuring every online order reflects the Peggs & son standard.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching online orders, as well as supporting general ecommerce operations. This role suits someone detail-driven, reliable, and happy working independently as well as part of a small team.

What You’ll Do

- Pick and pack online orders accurately and efficiently.

- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct packaging and presentation.

- Process returns and exchanges in line with company procedures.

- Assist with stock organisation and inventory accuracy.

- Support with incoming deliveries and stock transfers when required.

- Help maintain a clean, organised workspace.

- Communicate clearly with the retail and ecommerce teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.

- Good organisational skills and time management.

- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your workload.

- Comfortable using basic computer systems (ecommerce platforms, order management, etc.).

- A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to help where needed.

- Previous ecommerce or warehouse experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Role Details

Part-time position (hours to be discussed).

Weekend availability essential.

Competitive hourly rate offered.
