When Japanese craftsmanship meets Dutch skate culture

Two brands from opposite sides of the world - Osaka’s Fullcount and Amsterdam’s Pop Trading Company - come together for a collaboration that celebrates shared values of authenticity, craftsmanship, and culture.

Rooted in denim heritage and refined through skate sensibilities, the collection is small but considered: two pairs of jeans and two denim jackets, each combining the technical precision of Japanese manufacturing with Pop’s understated approach to everyday wear.

FULLCOUNT’s contribution is their unrivalled knowledge of selvedge denim, woven on rare vintage shuttle looms that produce fabric designed to soften and mould beautifully with time. Pop brings a modern practicality - cuts refined through years of skating, falling, and getting back up again. The result feels effortlessly lived-in from day one.

The line-up includes the DRS Denim Pants, a reworked version of Pop’s signature trouser rendered in rinsed selvedge denim, and the “Dartford”, which introduces a heavy wash for that sun-faded, broken-in character. The jackets follow a similar logic: the Type 2 Denim Jacket offers a clean, classic silhouette, while the “Dartford Jacket” channels a looser, vintage energy inspired by early Mick Jagger style.

The end result is denim made to be worn, scuffed, repaired, and lived in. As both brands agree, style is only complete once it has been lived in.
