Rooted in workwear, designed for everyday life. This season's collaboration between Service Works and Peggs & son brings a familiar silhouette into focus with the Pigment HBT Chef Pants.
Drawing on the practicality of traditional kitchen and workwear uniforms, the Chef Pant combines functional design with a considered approach to fabric and finish. Cut from herringbone twill and pigment-dyed in dark navy, the trousers have a lived-in character that only develops with wear, making them as suited to everyday rotation as they are to their original workwear influences.
For this shoot, local creative George Mills takes the lead on styling, direction and modelling, bringing his own perspective to the collaboration. The result is a series of images that explore the versatility of the Chef Pant, moving beyond its utilitarian roots while retaining the simplicity and functionality at the heart of the design.
A meeting of considered design, everyday wearability and a shared appreciation for clothing that works as hard as it looks.
